Day 1: Wednesday, February 11

Theme: The Magic of Confidence

Time Session
9:15 am Welcome/Introduction & Keynote
Overview of Agenda. Dave Jones, Founder of Turtle Concepts, will share how discussing confidence became his passion as a child. He will speak about his 31 years of work as a consultant and release some of his findings. Dave will introduce the first round of panelists to discuss their journey.
9:45 am Panel 1: "The Magic of Confidence"
Panelists will share stories from their journeys toward confidence and discuss "the magic of confidence." They will demonstrate how confidence can positively impact individuals in areas such as addiction, mental health, education, employment, life skills, parenting, emotional regulation, relationships, success, and more. Guaranteed to make you think about confidence across all ages. Is it always safe to be confident?
10:45 am Table Talk (A Safe Place to Share)
Participants will discuss the keynote at their tables and reflect on how it connects to or resonates with their personal lives. Guided questions will be provided and led by a Turtle at each table. Optional open-mic discussion with panelists.
12:15 pm Lunch (provided)
1:15 pm Dave and Dan
Dave and Dan will share thoughts on what they see and why we need to make confidence safer.
2:15 pm Break
2:30 pm Panel 2: "Creative Solutions for Making Confidence Safer"
Panelists will share how creativity and innovation can make a meaningful difference in one's personal life and how this translates into success and other aspects of life. This session will prepare individuals to talk about confidence with friends and family and will challenge participants to consider how their confidence may be received by others and within their community. Panelists will also discuss how to establish healthier, common-sense approaches to confidence.
4:00 pm Table Talk (Keep It Safe)
Participants will be led by a Turtle to discuss solutions to make confidence safer.

Day 2: Thursday, February 12

Theme: Building Healthier Teams

Time Session
9:30 am Panel 3: "Responding to Confidence"
Dave and Dan will introduce how confidence is needed in the workplace and teach how to respond to it. This panel will explore how confidence can sometimes feel challenging when others respond in confusing or unexpected ways. How do we cope with this kind of confusion? Participants will learn strategies to support individuals who are positively reinventing their lives. Panelists will also discuss the impact of phrases like "just kidding" and how they can affect a person's spirit. This session will assist participants in finding ways to empower students/families/coworkers to feel less anxious about expressing confidence in front of peers. Guaranteed to challenge how you reflect on and respond to confident actions.
10:45 am Table Talk (Safety Right?)
Participants will discuss and create ideas on community needs based on literacy. Panelists will introduce "Rez vs World" responses. Is there a difference?
12:15 pm Lunch (provided)
1:15 pm Panel 4: "Leading Your Team to More Confidence!"
This panel will explore how personal confidence can be translated into the workplace. Participants will learn tips for uplifting teams creatively and challenging team members to raise the bar for themselves and their work. Panelists will discuss how greater confidence can lead to less fear around leadership and taking initiative.
2:30 pm Table Talk (Open Up)
Responses & Open Discussion. Turtles will invite participants to share their thoughts on "shine vs. outshine" thinking in the workplace.

Day 3: Friday, February 13

Theme: Creating Safer Communities

Time Session
9:30 am Welcome/Morning Stretch & Panel 5: "Making Community Safer for Confidence"
Dave, Dan and Co-Emcees to share thoughts of the week. Panelists will explore unique perspectives and share techniques for inviting communities to become actively involved in making life safer for everyone. This session will provide participants with ideas they can implement in their own communities, where confidence is spoken about openly and PUBLICLY to help set the tone. Dave and Dan will suggest innovative ways to recruit people to attend events back home. Guaranteed to spark reactions and inspire real-world solutions.
10:45 am OPEN MIC. Final Solutions/Highlights of the Week
This final session invites participants to reflect on key themes from the conference and engage in open conversation with fellow attendees and/or your table. Participants will have time to ask questions, share insights, and discuss how they plan to carry what they've learned into their personal lives, workplaces, and communities. This is a space for connection, reflection, and collective problem-solving as we bring our time together to a close.
11:45 am Closing Session
A final gathering to reflect on our shared experiences, celebrate the conversations we've had, and acknowledge the growth that has taken place over the past few days. This session will offer space for gratitude, final thoughts, and a meaningful send-off as participants prepare to take their confidence forward into the world.
12:15 pm Final Lunch & Farewell
Lunch provided. Enjoy one last meal together as we wrap up the conference, connect one final time, and begin our journeys onward. Safe travels! 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm at The Machine Shop in Mill Square
83 Huron Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

A Fashionable Event Showcasing Confidence. Doors open for The Red Carpet at 7:00 pm. Conference Registrants get 1 free ticket to attend. Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

Dress: Red carpet fashionable. Curtain opens at 7:30pm sharp… NO INDIAN TIME ALLOWED… Lol!

Thursday Evening: "THE CONFIDENCE POSTER REVEAL GALA!"

7:00 pm – 10:00 pm at The Machine Shop in Mill Square
83 Huron Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

A masquerade ball where Turtle Concepts revealed an international confidence campaign featuring 15 posters, a coffee book, postcards, a teacher resource kit, and more! Games, snacks, music and prizes!

Participants were encouraged to dress up in a mask of their choice and join us for an evening of celebration, connection, and fun. Appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages were available.
